Stonehenge

Yaxche's Mayan shaman, Don Luis, was invited by the English Minister of Culture to Stonehenge for the Salisbury International Arts Festival. He hosted a traditional sun ceremony at the Neolithic Stonehenge monument.

Mayan dancers Hamba' Kan (meaning 'Echoes of the Cosmos'), a cultural group from the Itzaes tribe, descendents of the oldest Mayan tribe performed a traditional sun ceremony (the most sacred event in the Mayan calendar) rarely seen by anyone outside the Yucatan as the sunset between the stones as the full moon rose.
