Yaxche Maya Cuisine Restaurant is available for weddings, rehearsal dinners, commitment ceremonies, vow renewals, anniversary celebrations, engagement parties, and wedding receptions.

We can help coordinate your Mexican wedding with a justice of the peace, minister, priest, or Maya shaman.

Event Facilities

The restaurant can seat 134 guests, including 35 in the garden. We can reserve the whole restaurant for a group. If there are more than 134 guests, we offer exclusive use of the garden, with no extra charge. If the group is smaller, the facilities rental fee depends on the menu chosen, and the season (high or low).

There is a minimum number of guests (or a higher fee) necessary to have exclusive use of the garden.

The restaurant's dedicated wedding coordinator can assist you with planning a destination wedding or wedding reception in Playa del Carmen. She can help with everything from arranging for salsa lessons for a lively reception or coordinating a fully traditional Mayan wedding service.

Her services can include arranging for: flowers, live music, salsa lessons, DJ, cakes, arranging tours and hotel accommodations, custom dinner menus, receptions, officiants (justice, shaman, minister or priest), legal paperwork, mariachis, and more.
